Access 97 bypass key

Holding down the Shift key to bypass the startup menu doesn't work in the Access 97 program we have running on Windows XP. Does anyone have an idea about this?

Cool - an ancient thread breathes again! Are you saying that you are starting an .EXE that was written in Access, or Access 97 itself? -------

Fixed it! Our installation of our "Competisoft" budgeting software overwrote a file in MS Office 97. It had also kept our Link Manager from recognizing where our data was stored. Finally had to install Competisoft on a separate terminal!
