Hello,

I am creating a macro that uses TransferDatabase to grab a MS Foxpro DB table.

The Macro properties are as follows:
Transfer Type: Import
Database Type: ODBC Database
Database Name: S:\HOSTPLUS
Object Type: Table
Source: IN_GRP.DBF
Destination: NewGroups
Structure Only: NO

When I run the macro, I get the error: Could not find installable ISAM.

I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

I don't know if this will help, but it might be worth a try. I believe the computer can't find the link to Foxpro. In the control panel, look under ODBC data sources and verify that Foxpro is there. If it's not, just add it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks tbclbd,

The driver exists in the ODBC Data Sources, and I have a System DSN set up. I did change the Database Name property to:
ODBC;DSN=Host;SourceDB=S:\Hostplus;SourceType=DBF;Exclusive=No;BackgroundFetch=Yes;Collate=Machine;Null=Yes;Deleted=Yes;;TABLE=in_grp
and I am now getting the error:
ODBC call failed. [Microsoft][Microsoft Visual Foxpro Driver]Driver not capable (#0)

I have the latest MDAC and drivers installed.

Any other ideas?

Thanks, Faded

Yeah, I checked that out too :) I can successfully import the table using the file->get external data which leads me to believe that the driver thing isn't really the issue. But when I try to use a macro to TransferDatabase I am getting these errors. It's driving me crazy!

Hello,

I can't make the macro work, and I'm unsure of how to code a click event to import this database.

The path to the database is S:\hostplus\in-grp.dbf and the System DSN name is Host. I'd like to import it into an access table called tblGroup.

Thanks, Faded
