I have figured out that my ACCESS 2002 must be corrupted somehow, all of a sudden one day, any command button I created would not work and any subform would not relate to the parent form. I know that all of my relationships and such are correct. I took the database to another computer, created an empty database, imported all of the objects from the corrupted database that would not work, and now they work in the new database.
I am assuming that when the database is created, something is going wrong in the SYSTEM FILES that are hidden.
I recently updated NORTON INTERNET SECURITY and NORTON ANTI-VIRUS, it found three spyware files, no viruses.
I am going to totally uninstall the entire Microsoft Office Suite, reboot, make sure that everything uninstalled, and re-install new, I have already tried the detect repair, reinstall without uninstalling, and neither worked.
These are the following error messages:
THIS ERROR MESSAGE OCCURRED WHEN I CLICKED THE CLOSE COMMAND BUTTON I CREATED THROUGH A WIZARD
The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control.
THIS ERROR MESSAGE OCCURRED WHEN I INSERTED A SUBFORM AND TRIED TO USE IT
The LinkMaster Fields property setting has produced this error: ‘A problem occurred while Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control’
