A copy of our school-age database that is running in ACCESS 97 was placed out on out file server. A user emailed it to someone she has been working with on converting from an older version of Access (97). She emailed it as an attachment and he upgraded it to ACCESS 2000. Then, when he mailed it back to me I could open it, but I couldn't run any reports. He had me go onto an area called "references" after I hit ALT F11 and "TOOLS". We found an item in the list called "Microsoft Calendar Control 8.0". Ralph's calendar is 9.0. Could we have slightly different versions of ACCESS 2000? Can the calendar be changed?

Hi,

You have Access 97 loaded on your PC.

You received an Access 2000 file. It has a reference to Microsoft Calendar Control 9.0. It's looking for THAT reference on your PC.

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS 2000. You have Access 97 that has Microsoft Calendar Control 8.0.

What Ralph can do is change the reference from 9.0 to 8.0 if he still has that library on his PC. It will probably work just as well.
