This is strange. I have a runtime application installed across a network. One of the PCs was changed to WinXP and since then an error is occuring in a report that doesn't occur on other PCs. The report prints two copies of the same invoice, the calculated controls on the report are fine on the second page but on the first page print #Error, even though they are the same controls as on the second page. Even more spooky is that the preview of the report shows the controls correctly on both pages, but the printed version shows #Error. On returning to the screen after printing the preview then shows #Error on the first page. Any ideas? I know it's a weird one, any help gratefully received.

This is just a dumb hunch, but I'll offer it anyway.

I am running Office 2000. When I switched to Windows XP, I found there is a slightly different version of the Jet engine for use by machines running Windows XP.

If you want to check it out, go to the Microsoft Knowledge Base, do a search in Access 2000 for Windows XP. One of the items that comes up is a download for a newer version of the Jet engine for Windows XP.

Thanks for the help Tom, unfortunately we already have the latest MSJET files installed. I am checking out the other articles to see if anything fits so thanks for pointing me in this direction.
