Access 2000 mailmerge direct to email addresses

Hi

I'm running Access 2000 on Windows 2000 xp - I have a list of companies with email addresses against them - can I send emails to them direct from Access or do I need to import them into something else? If I do need to use another program does anyone know what's the easiest to transfer to and use?

You can have the addresses in a table or spreadsheet and use them directly. It will require an mailprogram to send, so for instance Outlook will open and send from that account. _{If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
