Access 2000 and Crystal Reports 8.5

Help! I have some Access 2000 applications which worked fine along with Crystal Reports 7.0. There was a requirement to upgrade to Crystal 8.5 and Access 2000 applications no longer run. My Access 2000 programs did not use Crystal 7.0. Uninstalled Crystal but Access still will not work. Has anybody had any previous experience with this and managed to fix? Any pointers on what I can do?

I've installed Crystal 8.5 on many machines that also have Access 2000 apps installed, all with no problems. When you say that your Access apps no longer run, what error messages do you get?
