Using Publisher 2002. Not always, but occasionally when I insert a picture from file (JPG) and place it on the page, it looks find on the screen, but when it is printed out, the picture is compressed to half height and two copies of this compressed picture are printed within the image area. The width remains unchanged.

It doesn't seem to matter whether or not the image is resized after importing, or if it is cropped or not. What is strange, too, is that if I open that JPG in PSP, convert it to a WMF, and insert that WMF into Publisher, there's no problem with the printout.

Anyone else had problems like this?

I am currently experiencing a similar problem. Using Publisher 2002 on a Windows 98SE computer. When I insert a .jpg and then crop it, it looks fine on the screen but when I print it out, the cropping has changed. I tried using Publisher 2002 on a Win2k machine and everything worked and printed just fine. I then took the document from the Win2k machine to the Win98Se and the problem showed up again.

Any suggestions?
