Hello,

I am working on an old Definity G3siV6. I configured the aar table and the udp. I am able to route calls using the udp code, however, is there a way to dial an extension in another PBX without the need of using the aar code? I know how to do this in CM but I am having problems making it to work on this switch. any ideas? thanks!

udp and aar have been around for years. g3v6 udp and aar are the same as the newer versions of CM udp and aar.

Avayatier3, Thanks for the reply. I think I didn't explain well what I need. I can configure the aar and udp and it works. i.e I configured aar code 110 and configured udp 11 I am able to dial 11+ 4 digit extension and works fine... in CM, I can configure the same setup.. aar code 11 and I can dial either way using 11+4 digit extension or the 4 digits extension only. the udp form is a bit different than the uniform dial plan in CM. Thanks again!

AvayaTier3,

The information is great... that is the way I can do it in CM, but I am having problem figuring this out in Definity R6. The form for uniform dial plan is different and I am having problems building a matching patter. I have in local PBX extensions from 1150 to 1170 in the other PBX I have extension from 1180 to 1199, in CM I can run a change uni 11 and add 118 and 119 as aar... in Definity R6 I get lost. i.e of the form in Definity R6. Thanks agian!
