I just built a computer and have some minor issues. The PC works fine, boots fine, etc. However, in the device manager it has a question mark beside 'Video Controller (VGA Compatible)' and 'Multimedia Audio Controller'.
The Video card I am using is an ASUS9180, and the sound card is a SB Live 5.1 Digital.
If you look under display settings, it can't even find the chipset type and settings for the video card. Under sounds, it hasn't picked up my sound card either.
I have installed the latest nVidia drivers so I don't know why this is happening. I have also installed all the motherboard drivers.
I am still scratching my head. I haven't ever had problems with Windows XP, as it is usually good at detecting hardware.
Any ideas?
