I do not know if this is the proper forum for this question so if not let me know. I am running W2K and have been getting this message continuously although the in "Line" part of it the number seems to change:
A runtime error has occurred
Do you wish to debug?

Line 945
Error: object expected

Yes No

If I click Yes I get I get a box that asks if I wish to debug with the selected debugger click Yes
and I get a Step into remote procedure call box. I click OK
and I get this whole HTML box of the page that originally showed the runtime error.
I have no idea about this "Script editing" but it seems to keep coming up.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you,
Paul

sounds like you're getting the error through internet explorer??? It's usually related to problems with website code.

Open internet explorer, click on tools then internet options. click the advanced tab. Make sure "disable script debugging" is checked and "display a notification about every script error" is unchecked.

Restart internet explorer and you shouldn't get the error anymore.

Do you have any "Pop-up stop" applications running on this machine? I used to use Adsgone and I had this message on a regular basis.

Most Pop-up stoppers work by changing the code on displayed web pages to block the pop-up code lines.

Try disabling any pop-up software you have and give this a try.
