a place to download some very generic drivers for XP 2

I am an on-site consultant for homes and small businesses. Occasionally a client will not have the system restore cd’s to wipe the drive (clean install) so I have to purchase XP Home or Pro. For them. What I am looking for is a place to download some very generic drivers that may not load when I install the OS, say for the modem or soundcard and so on. Any help would be great. Thanks

You can join driversguide.com, I think it is still free, They have a large selection of drivers. Some are on their site others are off site.

Thanks, I guess what I’m really looking for is a few nic, modem, and or other misalliances drivers that will work with most all computers (old and new alike), if such a thing exists. Thanks
