Hello, I am a novice web-designer and I am looking to create a table that contains both buttons, as well as, a table cell for displaying information.

It will work like this, when the user does a mouse-over on one of the buttons, there will be a designated spot (cell) in the table that displays specific information about that button.

For example, it will look like this...
_______________
|button | button |
|______|________|
|button | button |
|______|________|
|button | infohere|
|______|________|

So that, whenever a mouseover occurs on a button, different additional information (in picture format) is displayed in the info box (cell). So basically, my question is, how can I make it so that the info box (cell) continues to update itself with a series of different image for each button on its mouseover?

Thank you kindly in advance.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, if I understand you correctly you may just need to use layers in the "info here" cell and then the show-hide layers behavior for each button. Dreamweaver help can probably explain it better than me but it's a good place to start. Hope this helps

make your buttons and make your info into images...make sure all the info images are the same dimensions as this is necessary. in properties make sure you have a first info button(most likely blank) where your info would go
1) click that info button (the blank one) and in properties name it
2) click on button 1 and go to behaviors>swap image
3) find the name of the image for the first info (remember what you named it in properties)
and thats it repeat and enjoy

Thanks guys! The behaviors and layers worked perfectly, much appreciated! [bigsmile]
