A copy of an e-mail message is not automatically saved in sent folder

Hello,
I have checked and rechecked the settings for outlook 2003 and they are properly defined. The users sent mail is not saving itself in the sent folder. we run MS exchange 2000, no other users are having this problem.

Some suggestions as to where I should look would be great. Thanks,

Outlook :

Tools menu, options , email options button, is there a tick in the "save copies of messages in the sent items folder" tickbox ?
