_Login Class

Has anyone ever used the above?

I am printed of the instruction form the MSDN CD but all I get is a load of errors.

I am a tad confused cAlias does not appear in the properties but does in the instructions.

have set everything else right I think according to the instructions

Please if any one can help

hi rclarke,
I don't know why you want to use that login screen. Whatever, if you had created a form from _Login class, Just issue following command in the forms init procedure

WITH THISFORM
.cTable='myTable'
.cFieldname='myUserIdColumn'
.cPassword='myPasswordColumn'
.cDbfName='myTable'
IF !USED('myTable')
select 0
USE myTable
endif
.Setup()
ENDWITH
------------------------

It will run. Keep in mind that your password column must be of character datatype. _Login class is not meant for integer passwords.

I was just looking at it really before deciding wether it was what I needed or not it.
