The following problem boggles me....
My code kicks open a Cash Drawer by opening and sending RTS and DTR to the comm port. The drawer specification actually says you can send any (data) to the commport which should open the drawer.
Now everything works fine on my XP box, but on a 98 box, it seems like the commport does not refresh propperly (or something), cause if you open it, it takes a variable amount of time before you are able to open it again...on XP it opens instantly any amount of times in a row.
Sometimes in 98 it inly opens once, and then by refreshing your comm port in device manager, you are able to open the drawer again
Any ideas would be appreciated
