Thanks for the reply hairlesssupportmonkey,

Do you want the full script,

I have had the phone working in the office as an IP Phone,
I have taken the phone home, enabled the vpn option, set up phone & router as per the tek tip 184, although I do understand that these settings are for the 46xx & 56xx ip phones.
And after spending about 5 hours tonight trying different settings I have decided to ask on tek tips if anybody else has had any joy in getting it working!

I am now a hairless IPMonkey!

LOL

Well i would be inclined to use either the Juniper with Auth or the Cisco w/Auth profiles.

configure up your VPN with a 3DES SHA tunnel, and try your best to match the settings on the handset. be careful of timers, they will be your killer.

Has anybody managed to get the 9630 or any other 96xx VPN Phone working with the Netgear Fvs338??

Not yet although i have planned a day to try setting this up.

What? Yet more people having trouble with the VPN option on the 96xx phones?

I feel a bit better now :)
