9608 Remote Phone - No Ringing - No Speakerphone

Hi all,

I have a new 9608 remote phone installed 1800 miles away. The customer is telling me the phone doesn't ring, and the speakerphone doesn't work. When he presses the volume (-+) bar, the volume icons are on the screen moving up and down, but no sound.

I looked around the forums, did not see anything related. I just want to make sure I am not missing some configuration detail that enables/disables the speaker.

Do you another 9608 to rule out a bad phone?

It's at a customers home 1800 miles away. I am going to configure a new phone here, test and ship it if there is nothing I am missing in the configuration.
