Anyone up on the translations for just dialing 911 from your phone and having the Definity insert the 9?, I'm talking about not putting a 9 in the route pattern and setting the ARS for SVCL or EMEG. We should be able to just dial 911 and the system should send the call out that way.

Most places I've seen do this in ARS digit conversion.

okay now im not sure. I've seen that set up at the last two places I worked under ARS and AAR digit conversion.

We have a new switch and I tried both the way I just posted and:

11 2 2 1 911 ars


And it still does not work. Maybe the only option is the route pattern?

Okay I updated my last change in the ars digit conversion to be

now the call does go thru after the digit time out since its looking for more digits.

Here is another way. The advantage of this method is you can track the 2 types of calls made by list measurements on the route patterns. You do it by using 2 different route patterns & defining both 911 & 11 in the ARS analysis.
