It's been a while since I played with ESN and I have a question. A new 911 call center will soon be implemented and the direction wants me to direct all calls made to 911 to an extension of the switch i.e. 3333. I've done it before as an SPN under AC1 but then AC1 was 9. On this switch, AC1 is 89. The direction doesn't want users to dial 8911 but 911. How can I do this, FFC??

Thanks.

Look into Emergency Services, the ESA feature. Use ld 24 to build.

If 911 doesn't conflict w/ internal dialing plan you could also build an ACDN that NCFW to your extension ie 3333. Not everyone has ESA in LD 24; it wasn't included in all base software loads. We didn't have it for a while I don't think until we updated to S3.0 -Matt

911 is a very hard number to route as anything, ac1 conflicts almost every time.. i have had to send it to bars, i just used 11 as a spn the did a delete 2 insert xxx-xxxx, the did of the phone i wanted it to go to.. not as clean as ld 24 if you have that pkg turned on..

Well thanks a lot guys. At least I do have a few options now ) I will look into ESA first and see how it goes.

You guys are a great bunch, thanks a lot!
