When I call 911 from any of my DID's except the main number, it doesn't display any address information about my hospital on their end. The only way that they are seeing the address is if the call is placed from the main number. Is there a way to send the main number out on all DID 911 calls without having to send it for everyday calls? Many people with DID's would kill me if I sent the main number out for everyone. Thanks for any info TJ

shouldn't the telco that provides the DID's send the info?

I was thinking along the lines of creating a trunk group to handle 911 calls, adjust the ARS patterns to send 911 to that trunk, then in Public-unknown-numbering, you could associate the main number with all calls going to that trunk..

The teleco should provide your address when calling 911. Call them and have them update their datebase. Everytime I make a test call to 911 I make sure that they see my companay name, address, floor, and phone number.

True, it's the telco's issue. To make things more simple, I always try and send 911 calls out local copper lines first. There is less of a chance that there will be some sort of configuration issue in the network that keeps things from working properly.

ISDN-Public form will send the entered number(ext number or full did) The local provider has to provide to the 911 center the address, rm number etc for those numbers. The local ex-Bells don't like to do this. You may have to hire a consultant to provide the updates to the 911 center. I have had to stop sending DID's and revert to the main listed number until resolved (delay's in 911 responce etc). Make sure you have 'crisis alart' enabled to the console or guard phones. Having all 911 calls routed over a copper line first choice is always a good idea (the T1's are down) that will only show the main listed address to 911, with 'crisis alert', the operator can have someone meet the responding units and provide direction.
