*9000???

I just read in a tech bullitin that SOHO is adding a *9000 SC to turn the relay on for "MAINTENANCE" and this first POT port on an ATM4 can also be used for RAS. I just cant quite put all the steps together to make the POT 1 port on either of these boxes functional. This would be helpful with all of the IP406V2's going out with integral messaging :(... It may also be a good backup if the internet connection gets hosed up.

Any ideas, surely someone has played with this.

It is not meant for RAS but for remote service.
With the *9000* you can activate a relay switching trunk 1 into "modem" mode so the maintainer can diallin to trunk 1 for remote service.

Sorry, its all setup by default, no additional programming needed.
