8X24 Software Differences

Hey all,

I have a chance to update my 8X24 from DR2 to DR5. I am gong to go ahead with this upgrade as I see it will be helpful, but what changes can I expect between the versions?

You get quite a few improvements in call handling including the ability to use target lines. Also with DR-5, you can perform a backup of your system programming with Norstar Manager. You'll get dialing filters instead of Restrictions and Overrides. Under Permissions for DR-2, you had 7 items for the sets. In DR-5 you will have 17 items, but moved to CAPABILITIES, then SET ABILITIES.
Well worth the change. You will like it.
