8410D and 8434D / CALLID Display Issue

Greetings,

I’ve been having sporadic issues with the displays on my 8410D and 8434D. Every so often I’ll get a trouble report that the customers phone will ring once, display the calling parties information, second ring the display cuts off. I’ve seen this with my own eyes. This happened just a few minutes ago with an 8410D. It’s in the same building as the switch which rules out a copper length issue. And the test calls were on and off campus. I resolved the issue by unplugging the set, letting it sit for 15 seconds and then I plugged it up. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Having the menu on showing the soft keys will only give on blip off the caller info. I would recommed to always have the soft key menu off "exit" this should take care off that.

Correct..That was the first thing I did to the set. I pressed the 'exit' button. Then I made a test call from another number in the building and then from my cell phone. I ended up with the same issue.
