8300LSP in g700 stack

I went through the services port and changed the IP addresses of the stack with AIW. However I seem to be missing something because the g700 is not accessible through the ethernet interface on the new IP address.

I cant even ping it via a cross over cable between my laptop and ext1 of the g700.

Do I have to go through the console port on the g700 and change the ip information that way also? I thought going through the 8300 services port would allow me to make all those changes.

Login as root to the g700

session stack
show port
show interface
show ip route

session mgp
Same commands as above and
show VoIP


You need IP address for the stack, mgp, and VoIP

You need console cable to console port of g700 to PC
crossover t ext won't work

I can definitely try that do you think when i went through AIW it did not change all those IP's? It did walk me through changing all of them.

Got it to work went through the wizard and it changed everything except the vlan tag on the ports. I had to make a console cable found the pinout in another post but it also required a roll over cable
