I don't have any more ideas, here is what is bothering me for last 2 days:
i have two cisco 805 routers connected over serial port s with 2 zyxel u-90 universal modems. When i connect modems in async way over leased line (two pairs) they establish communication and ser0 ports on both 805s are up but protocol is down. When i define in IOS that serial is physical-layer asynch then message is serial is down, line protocol is down. Through config maker i can't define async connection without selecting certain dialer.
1. Is there some way to connect 2 805 routers with LL async but without dialer?
2. Do you know anything unussual when 2 805 routers are connected over LL sync con? I did that with 2 Telindus Aster4 modems 18 months ago and configmaker did all alone and now it does not work like in installation manual.
Any help is more than welcome, anything that could be usefull info.
