8.5 Runtime: Export to Adobe PDF Option Not Listed

My users run reports through an application using the Crystal 8.5 runtime and want to export (not print) the results to a PDF file. The report displays properly. When clicking on the Export icon, however, Adobe PDF is not an item in the export destination list. Available options include csv, excel, etc.

Is there a Crystal 8.5 Runtime .dll file required to allow Adobe PDF as a valid export destination? I do not have the developers edition of Crystal which would include the Runtime.hlp help file. I think the answer may lie within that help file. Thx.

Try downloading the latest dlls. If your excel doesn't say 'MS Excel' etc, your versions are seriously out of date. Go to

http://support.crystaldecisions.com/updates/,

or else ask whoever is authorised to download.
