I have a bat file I run every morning that executes several Oracle stored procedures and does 3 SQLLOADs into 3 different tables. On my new Windows 2000 machine, everytime I hit an SQLLOAD command, my bat file never gets control back after the SQLLOAD, although the SQLLOAD works fine. When I run the bat file on my old 98 machine, it works fine. Has anyone seen this? Do you think it's a 8.1.5/2000 incompatibility issue? Should I try 8.1.7? Thanks.

Hi... that is a known 8i/Win2k bug... create a BAT file to call the SQLLDR and an exit stement to close the DOS window... as you've mentioned the SQL-LOAD works... the problem is the DOS window will not go away... creating the BAT file will close the DOS window.
