Have you guys with office 2003 (Like me) tried Libre office?

Opens in OpenOffice Calc V3.3 (on old linux box) so Libre office should also be ok
(Libre office now is under a better development regime)

total cost for the full suite £0.00 so you should be able to swing it past the finance director

Support for Excel 2003 will be a few weeks out.

There's a patch to allow older versions of Office to work with the newer format

see my advise on libre office. if couporate wont even let you install software at a cost of £0.00 (it is amazing how many companies wont let you spend nothing to be able to do your job!) there is also a portable version that will run direct from Mem stick.
