Have you guys with office 2003 (Like me) tried Libre office?
(I havn't yet)

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
just tested
Opens in OpenOffice Calc V3.3 (on old linux box) so Libre office should also be ok
(Libre office now is under a better development regime)

total cost for the full suite £0.00 so you should be able to swing it past the finance director :-)

see my advise on libre office. if couporate wont even let you install software at a cost of £0.00 (it is amazing how many companies wont let you spend nothing to be able to do your job!) there is also a portable version that will run direct from Mem stick.
