7942 fonts smaller on some sets but not all

I'm working on a Call Manager Express 3845 router. I have recently installed 7942's and they make inbound/outbound calls. However, I've noticed there are some phones that have a smaller font. Can anyone shed any light?

The phones are probably running on different phone loads would be my guess.

yes I would confirm the firm ware for the phones
