7940 - Registration 'Unknown' in CCM

I was curious if anyone has came across this issue before;

The phone (7940) is currently attempting to Register with the CCM, and in the CCM its showing as 'Unknown' for the registration status.

So far I have reset the phone via the CCM, deleted the phone and recreated it, and moved it to another port on the 3750 PoE switch. As of right now I do have a TAC ticket open with Cisco waiting for them to call me, but I figured I would ask you guys if you knew anything while I am waiting.

Is it getting an IP address? Can you PING it from the CCM?
 
No its not, the response I recieved from Cisco so far is to do a factory reset on the phone.
 
Hi-- Check and see if your IP address scope is correct in your DHCP server. The phone has to get an IP address then get the TFTP server address in which to load firmware.
