Can a 7400b data module be used for access to the switch?

I have one at my desk. It is plugged into a 2-wire digital line, with the options set to pdm, however it shows disconnected.

Thanks.

Thanks Groundrat. So I guess that means I need a four wire board, Right? Or is there a way to use 2 ports from a regular board?

Yes, it can be used to dial into the switch... I use an 8400 to get into the switches that do not have a CLAN in them. You will dial into the Netcons on your switch, there should be a hunt group setup for them and that is the best way to dial-in.

You will have to have a 4-wire port to use the 7400.
