Hi.

I need some assistance on quite a specific nat issue from all you guru's out there please.

I have the following scenario to try and overcome:

Servers, based at SiteA on subnet 172.19.30.x
have to be moved to SiteB on subnet 172.19.14.x

The challenge is this.

All requests from clients coming in TO the 172.19.30.x servers still have to work, but be natted from 172.19.14.x to 172.19.30.x
All requests from clients coming in TO the 172.19.14.x servers must NOT be natted.

I don't know if a nat route-map of some kind would do the trick, but route-maps are more source based as i understand them
and this seems to be more destination based

however in testing, simple static nat mappings don't seem to work, as the client requesting the 172.19.14.x server, get's a reply from 172.19.30.x

i'm trying this on a 7206VXR, and don't know if it does more statefull nat mappings, so that again, requests to the proper 172.19.14.x addresses DON'T get natted
only the requests to 172.19.30.x addresses, still respond on 172.19.30.x

so i pretty much need it to nat (or not) based on the client request.
is this possible ?

any help would be greatly appreciated... as my test so far have failed in both static and route-map attempts

many thanks in advance !!
