I think I assisted you with this issue before? No?
The NuPoint is very powerful. Some would say that the 6510 is more powerful. I guess its how you look at it.
The NuPoint works on a thing called "bits." Every feature, every function, every event is a bit. You can turn bits on and off, making the NuPoint EXTREMELY configurable.
On the flipside the 6510 has a lot of functionality. Not as configurable (more on/off style), however it's very feature rich.
I will be honest, the 6510 is not a Mitel product, but has been adapted (install wizard) and branded to look as a Mitel product.
Keep in mind when you move to a NuPoint you can only integrate with your messaging server in two capacities - Microsoft Exchange Only OR SMTP forwarding. There is no integration for Lotus or other e-mail platforms.
The functionlaity coming out in Rls 12 of NuPoint is very cool. Brings the NuPoint inline more with the 6510. I cannot at this time discuss the functionality that will be introduced (sorry, seems rude to bring it up and then not say anything), but I can say, look at the major features of the 6510 and then know that NuPoint will support them.
As a final question, why did your vendor not get the DND fixed? Can they not call Kanata (support) for assistance? If it's a bug, it can be DPARd and a patched provided.
If you have specific questions about NuPoint, please let us know.
