I have a lap top that is set up for remote access. When Im out of the office I still used to log in to the domain fine but now I get 5719 error.

I installed SP2 but still no luck.

Any ideas whats going on???

Andy

i forgot to say in the error message was "unable to logon because netlogon service is not running"

The service is running...

Maybe it is because your not connected to the domain when
you are out of office?

VVV---(this one) for me ;-)

erm with win2000 you dont need to be connected to the domain to log into it. It uses cached credintials.

If it is just your profile that has the problem then you may have a corrupt profile. Copy your personal files from your current profile to temporary location. Log on as administrator, delete your profile, log onto the network and recreate your profile. Then check it again offline. There was no information about this exact problem on Technet, however, I have seen corrupt profiles with the simalar simptons.
