5610 VPN Phones on R7?? 1

i'm having some 5610 vpn phones connected to an IP500 V1 R5 through a Cisco 2811, and i need to upgrade the IPO to R7 in order to add some new phones (9608), i'm wondering after the upgrade if the 5610 are still gonna be up or what license should i prepare for them to keep them working on R7

all will work your VPN remote licences will become simply endpoint licences.

Don't use the 9608 IP Phones on 7, they have problems and yes the 5610 VPN phone works just fine with the avaya ip endpoint licenses.
In 7 you need for each Avaya IP Phone ( including IP DECT ) a Avaya IP endpoint license.
If you have a IPO 500 VCM 32 card you get 4 x 3 = 12 IP endpoint licenses and with a VCM 64 you get 24 IP endpoint license, for each extra VCM Channel license you get 3 Avaya IP endpoint licenses per licensed VCM channel.
For additional Avaya IP Phones you'll have to buy IP Endpoint licenses.

what kind of problems u have with the 9608 ?? we like the phone here, i've been using one for 4 or 5 weeks and it is working just fine.

A VCM64 only gives 12 endpoint licences Intigrant, not 24

I saw it with my own eyes but it is indeed giving 12 ip endpoint licenses.
