Hello Everyone,
Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. We are currently having an ongoing issue where outside senders, receive the following NDR:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: SUBJECT
Sent: 4/4/2006 8:50 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
user@localdomain.com on 4/4/2006 8:50 AM
You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.
<sending.server.com #5.7.1 smtp;554 5.7.1 User Over Quota>
Where:
user@localdomain = user in our domain
sending.server.com = outside email server
This is happening randomly to different senders. So, I went ahead and checked the mail restrictions policies and there are none, our users have unlimited storage on their mailboxes. I’ve checked event viewer to make sure nothing weird is recorded and everything seems ok.
Let me tell you this only happens to outside people who are trying to send email to us. Any ideas? Where to look or What to check?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rocket
