5340 ScreenSaver occasionally not dimming

Has anyone else experienced this with their 5340s? I've seen it infrequently, but it does occur and there's (so far) no mention of it in the KB. Anyone?

DSS events will prevent the screen (do you have DSS's appearing on the set)?

What revision of ICP are you running? There has been some clean up of the screen saver in the last two revisions including UR2 of 8.0

Yes, actually I do have 1 DSS on one particular set where I've seen this anomaly. Thanks for the tip. All my sites are presently still at 7.1 (UR1)(7.1.5.13 I think). Now that UR2 has been released for 8 we'll probably take a look at it and move to it. We never put "n.0" loads on anything but normally migrate to UR1 when it's out, except I've been a little too busy this time of year to tinker. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I have to write up a business case to get dispensation from the Gods for the outage window (which will improve going forward).
