49000 conn going through firewall

I am in charge of 8 dorms. I have each dorm overloading to a single live ip address. Lately I've been losing internet connection through the pix. I did a show conn and we were at 49000. I thought the 515E was supposed to support 100,000? Has any other net admins seen this kind of activity? I do believe there are some nonsense connections because alot of these do not have flags set. Any help would be appreciated.

I think the max simultaneous connections on a 515E is 48,000 and with an unrestricted licence it is 130,000.

Someone please corect me if I am wrong.
