4612 IP sets not retaining volume settings 1

Denver support is having a tough time getting this to work on our switch. The change has been made to the terminal -parameters for the 4600 type sets. And they still do not retain the volume settings that are needed. Dose anyone know if this is a issue with v10

make sure you're on the latest IP phone firmware??

Our 4612 sets are running the latest firmware-def24r1_8_1.bin

do a:
change terminal-parameters
Setting for DCP phones and one for IP.

set it to 'retain handset and speaker between calls'

Think you will need to 'reboot' the ip phones.
