Ok I have a question now that I have the vpn router setup. I can connect somewhat to the system. It asked for the ext (8400) and then a password (1234). But then tells me "Wrong Set Type".... What does that mean?

What firmware version is on the IP Office?
You need to flash the firmware on the 5610 phone.

The system is running 4.2 aoftware but will be upgrading to 5.0 this weekend

So I upgraded the system to 5.0 software and got the firmware on the phone for VPN. The tunnel gets built and the display reads Ext= So I enter 8400 which is built in the ext list and a user made. It prompts for a password which is 123456.
The system thinks for a bit and the display then reads "Wrong Set Type".....
Does anyone know what this means? I thought it might have been the IPO needed to be upgraded to 5.0 software but that's not it. I have two VPN user licenses load on the box. I am at a lost on what to try next. Anything could help...
Thanks Gus and A Great T-Day to all

Check if the station numbers are in use on a digital or analog port, if so then delete the number on that port amd try again.

There is a tick box or drop down on the h323 extn you create that should tell the system its a VPN phone.
