I am trying to upgrade a 403 to a 412, I saved config from the working 403, connected my laptop to the new 412 and updated the firmware to 3.1.56 (the same that the 403 was on), Opened the saved 403 config file and tried to do a sendconfig to the 412 and I get an error "Configuration conflicts with the current system".

I have removed the unit under control units along with the "2 pots lines" and 8DCP, and I still get the same error. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

You better use the export/import wizard.

Export al things you want, then remove al that you want to import (users, routes, incomming call route) then import the thing of the old file.

Only thing you have to fill in again is the hardware id,s.

give the remote user and the no user an logincode then you can remove it from you user list.

Ok I will try this. Thanks.

Ok this is strange, I imported users, ext, ICR etc and now I am up on the 412, but all the extensions are wrong now.

For example for EXT ID 534 01-20 it has extension 5320, but the phone says 5373. Any ideas what could cause this?

never mind figured it out, had something backwards.
