We have Outlook Web Access (OWA) on our Exchange 2000 server published through our ISA 2000 server. Most of the time, everything works fine, but every once in a while users will receive this...

403 Forbidden - The server denies the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server

Does anyone know what would cause this intermittent error?

Thanks,
Chris

What does the ISA logs say, i.e. what's the Result code (SC-STATUS), when this problem occurs?

Cheers
Knutern

There is nothing in the Event logs on the ISA server when this happens.

Chris

No, this information is not the event logs, but in the ISA Logs (by default in ISALogs folder within the ISA Program folder).

Cheers

Okay, I wasn't aware that ISA kept its own separate logs. I'll check these the next time it happens and let you know, thanks.

Chris

I'm also suffering with the same problem... did you ever find a solution?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I've since upgraded to ISA SP2, but it happened again a few days ago. I checked the ISA logs folder, but they aren't error logs, they are just access logs that are of no use at all. Where are the ISA error logs?
