I'm not sure if this is truly IIS-related, but I am working on a Windows 2003 Server with IIS 6. My problem resides above the inetpub/ folder, since I cannot get the read-only attribute removed for file uploads below Inetpub/, but that's for another day.
So, I have this folder, c:\inetpub\blahblah\domain.com\ that houses all graphics for the website. I used a virtual path that calls the IMG tag for the necessary image to display. However, 90% of the time, when I drag an image to this file, and load the site, I get a broken graphic with a 403.1 ACL error when I directly load the image. I have no other permission issues except with this. I can double-click the image within the folder and it shows fine. I have Read/Write checked for the Virtual Directory and "Scripts Only" selected.
Any reasons why?
