Has anyone else had the same issues with Forward Hunt Group Calls as I am? I have plenty of systems using the method of having a linear (sequential) hunt group with a single user, and that single user is set to Forward Unconditional and Foward Hunt Group Calls, and forwards to either an external number - or a short code that goes to a Voicemail Node. This no longer works in 4.0 it seems. It also appears that you can not forward a user to a short code. I came up with a work around that isn't great IMO, and was wonder what other work arounds people may have. Or - perhaps I can't see the forest for all the trees?

This is a bug. There has been a private build issued.

Consult your distributor to get hold of the PB.

Can you please provide the CQ number for this bug. Or the PB number?

The CQ number seem sot have dissapeared from the website, however i can tell you that the PB number is 4.0.56601

Did the forward of hunt group calls stop working all together or just have issues? For instance, could you just forward one call at a time? If so, work around I found was add more users in the hunt group, which are forwarded as well just like the original one.

It returns busy if you dont actually have a phone plugged in.

You could use an alog ext but this can be a pain if you need more than one or two.

Creating IP Extensions is the work around that is getting us through.

Somebody did mention this to me although i could not get this working.

If the IP handset is not registered to the gatekeeper it returned busy tone for me.

With mine, I found that I had to delete the virtual user and recreate it, then select Yes on the 'Create VoIP Extension' dialog. Creating a matching extension for a virtual user didn't work for some reason. The end result appears the same, but apparently is not.

I could have sworn it worked with virtual users, without returning busy tone. I am working from memory here though. I could be wrong as the halfhiemers is starting to rear it's head now at my age.
