3d studio max with xp

I need help.....Can I run 3d studio max v3 with xp...Ran fine with 98...

You can run r3 with XP but you will need to download some stuff before you run it.

You will need an XP C-Dilla patch which you can get from Discreet's webpage. Once that is installed it should run.

Hi

I have 3DSMax Ver3 installed on my Windows XP platform. Since the program has not worked for the past few months, and I have tried all the recommended steps to get it running again, I have decided to uninstall and re-install the program.
When I attempted to uninstall it, I got the following error message: "Unable to locate the installation log file 'C:\3DSMAX3\DEISLI.ISU'. Uninstallation will not continue."

What can I do now? Thanks
