I just replaced my 2616 phone with a 3904. Everything is working fine except that I cannot get my Intercom Key (DIG) to work. The Error I get is 'SCH0360 Wrong number of input fields for prompt KEY'. I have read other posts on this issue, but I do not understand (kind of new at this). I am in a large Intercom Group and the number is 42, how can I get it to accept this?

How was the intecom key printed on your 2616 set? if you don't have a copy of the printout then print another phone within the same intercom group. The format will be something like this:
key xx DIG x 42 R or V

It was Key 4
Group 42
Member 50
R (Ring)

key 4 dig 42 50 r... what is the sch code?

User got SCH360 according to first post, so was probably not entering intercom key in correct format.

right, i didn't see the sch, the format i posted does not change between a 16 and an 3900, might have used one of that unused keys

I am entering it just as I always do with my 2616. I tried it through my software (Avotus - Order Pro) and directly through the PBX. I followed the instructions on an earlier post, and it still does not work.

eileenc, what key are you trying to program it on? And, if you are using a new TN, did you remove the DIG from the 2616?

I tried it on both key 4 and key 8, neither on worked. It is the same TN, so the DIG isn't on any other set.

pls try again and post your entry, along with the SCH code. thanks.

This is the error message I received (once again). Invalid Feature:
'key assignments: 4 dig group + Member + R/V'
'key skipped.
SCHO360 Wrong number of input fields for prompt KEY

Your post does not make sence

Can you capture what you are doing and Post?

What you said above was

item key 4 dig 42 50 r<cr>
key<cr>
Sch030
?????? - is this where you got the sch code?

YES, that is when I get the SCH Code.

I dont' use otm or whatever management system you use and maybe i'm reading something wrong but everyone keeps asking you to post your entry and if your entry is

"'key assignments: 4 dig group + Member + R/V'
'key skipped.
SCHO360 Wrong number of input fields for prompt KEY"

than where did you type in the actual member and group number and it's either r or v whatever the others in the group.

Forget it, I got it to work, but for some reason the key still isn't showing up through my software. Thanks.
