I was deleting a firmware schedule yesterday and swore I performed a schedule cancel FDLC in ld 32 prior issueing the commands in ld 97. Since I could not find any better explanation of how to remove a schedule in the NTPs. I was removing the intervals per day. Once I returned through the rest of the prompts the system started updating firmware out of the blue. I tried to suspend but the system gave me a OVl 306 everytime I tried. Eventually my vendor got it to stop. What was left in Load 97 after my changes was
FDL DATA
SET TYPE: 3904
FRCE: NO
FVER: 80
I understand what I did wrong but what still concerns me is that I mannualy updated firmware Version(9.3)to 10 phones the previous day due a firmware load failure yet the system pushed firmware to those phones again and they failed. Any idea how the prompt FVER used. Also is there a way I can associate firware version to TNS without manully doing an FWVU to each set. I appreciate any help.

LD 32
.FSUM All <-- will display firmware by TN

When you manually updated the 10 phones, did they fail then also?

When I manually update the ten phones they all passed.

Because you had "FVER: 80" set, it would still try to change the firmware. I usually leave it a "00". I also set the download times to be done when the system is low in call traffic such as the early hours of the morning just after the midnight routines for around 2 to 3 hours each day.

All the best
