Hi there.

I have come a bit unstuck. We had 4 3750's stacked together. I have now split the stack into 4 single units.

I have renamed the stacks using

switch x renumber 1.

But what I cant seem to do is to get rid of the existing switch number config.

I have interface FastEthernet 1/0/1 - 48 with the correct config on but I also have interface FastEthernet 2/0/1 - 48
showing in the config. How can I get rid of the 2 stack info ?

Thanks

There should be a line in the configuration similar to:

switch 1 provision xxxx
switch 2 provision xxxx

I think if you remove the unwanted one (i.e. no switch 2 provision xxx) then write the config and maybe reload?

I haven't tried this as I don't have more than 1 3750 to hand but I think it should work...

HTH
