3631 Wireless phone - how do you upgrade the software on it? 2

Hi,

We are testing the 3631 wireless ip phone to see if it will work in our environment. Our network administrator is trying to upgrade the phone with the latest software version. How is this accomplished? She can see the 46xx files but she doesn't know where the phone is supposed to get its software upgrade from. Help!

Our IIS server couldn't send the zImage_ug file to the phones. Used a Window Apache server and it work fine. The IIS server doesn't like files with unknown file extensions.

If should getting from the download folder. This is where you place your upgade files.

Make sure you can browse to this folder from the subnet the phone is located at.

To address MoeO's issue: I saw this also.

IIS will not serve files it does not recognize. You need to create a custom MIME type on the IIS server for files with no extension. Here's the method:
